  1. Secret Mountain - This might just be the best view on the island. Recently refurbished it's a little on the pricier side but that unobstructed sunset very will be worth it. The decor is absolutely amazing and the staff are amazingly wonderful too.


  1. Harbour House - I'm hesitant to share this one as it's a very small, family feel restaurant but it's very affordable prices and hands down best Thai food has me going back time and time again. I highly recommend the Chicken Cashew nut.


  1. Mama Kob - Again, this little Thai restaurant is a very small family owned spot with limited seating but it's stunning location on the beach and friendly staff will take great care of you. With two locations, you can choose between the beach or Sri Thanu restaurants. Massaman fried rice for the win here.


  1. Bubbas - perfect for a catch up with friends or to get some work done. With multiple locations to choose from it's easily the best coffee on the island. Great menu with innovated dishes!


  1. What's Cup - Perched on top of a beautiful cliff overlooking the beach, you can't beat the day time views here and enjoy the breeze rolling in as you sit and ponder how good life is.


  1. Alcove - sexy vibes here! Put on your island best and pop a bottle.

Designed to feel like you are in a living room rather than a restaurant pop in here on the weekend for surprise entertainment, incredible food and wine selection.

  1. Scene Nymph - Bali-esque vibes here and an amazing brunch spot to take a break from the pounding sun. The bagels are awesome, but be prepared it's usually pretty busy!!


  1. Pura Vida - Located in the heart of Haad Yao, Pura Vida offers western dishes and some Portuguese specialties too. The XXL sandwiches are really just that, so be sure to bring a friend along!

  1. Same Same - Tucked away in Haad Rin this small locally owed restaurant is a popping spot around Full Moon so be sure to swing by for a bucket or a taste of home with dishes from all over the world.


  1. Croissant & Ko - Some of the best sandwiches on Koh Phangan. Great well prices coffee and also some incredible deals on through out the week. Like their 3PM ice-cream happy hour!!

  1. Pum Pui - might be the best Thai restaurant on the west coast. Every dish here is spot on with amazing presentation and a overall friendly feel. Open plan kitchen let's you see how hard the staff are working on pumping out your delicious dishes. 10/10. If you are a group be sure to make a reservation!
